It's Been a Long Time Coming...

Holy Shit it has been a long time since my last post. I think I need to stop listening to music and start blogging more, about more useful subjects like Sports. Are maybe not. Anyways I just received a copy of " We Were Promised Jet Packs " Sophomore album -In The Pit Of The Stomach-. I cannot stop listening to it! It's like Arizona Green Tea and Marlboro Red 100s combined ( My drink and smoke of choice). Adam Thompson makes me believe in "Human Error" with his Paul Banks style voice. Actually, this album here reminds of Interpol's first release "Turn On The Bright Lights". Maybe if (WWPJP) acquired Carlos D they could then achieve Super Superstar status.

PB&J (Peter Bjorn & john)

Here is a Swedish rock band that will get you off of your seat and into reality. And if you don't believe me then go have a listen for yourself! They are one of my favorite artists of 2k11. http://beemp3.com/download.php?file=9241342&song=Second+Chance

Thom Yorke/Four Tet/Burial Collaboration

2 new tracks from one of my favorite artists of all time! Thom Yorke shells out some of his unique gloominess on vox, while Four Tet & Burial bring fourth answers to questions not even asked.

The Flaming Lips with Neon Indian

So I just got a hold of the new Neon Indian/Flaming Lips EP. And all I have to say is, what the hell is going on here? First off! I had to download the tracks off the ever trusted interweb. Secondly, I was disappointed to hear that the new colored vinyl would never reach my city! So... after all the frustration I sat down like a Native American with his legs crossed (which I am) and graciously let the Hypnotic sounds that were evolved from these four tracks, Take me to a place I have never been before. A place that LET me feel like a mortal being, a mortal being with a dream.
All tracks can be streamed here @ http://consequenceofsound.net/2011/03/check-out-the-flaming-lips-neon-indian-is-david-bowie-dying/
If streaming is a thing of the past for you then just email me.
